Taking the shielded cooling water system of a high temperature gas-cooled reactor project as the research object, the numerical simulation of two pipeline layout schemes of cage and extension plate is carried out by Fluent software, and the influence of the thermal conductivity of insulation material, the thickness of insulation layer, the vertical distance and height of extension plate on the temperature of the concrete wall is analysed. The results show that the decrease of the thermal conductivity of insulation material and the increase of the thickness of insulation layer are beneficial to reducing the maximum temperature of the concrete wall, and the cooling effect of the extension plate pipe layout scheme on the concrete wall is better than that of the cage scheme. By reducing the distance between extension plates, the heat dissipation effect of the concrete wall can be enhanced, but the change of the height of extension plate has no obvious positive effect on the evaluation index.
